Gearing Up for VBC

Ken LaPlante, Ann Gibson, and Marlea Dutt glue windows in place for the modern super heroes city set for Vacation Bible Camp at Saint Stephen Lutheran Church next week, where children will learn about the historical heroes of the Bible. VBC takes place from July 31-August 4, 9 am-noon at the church at 537 Bolton St. (Route 85), Marlborough.

There is still time to sign up for Vacation Bible Camp at Saint Stephen Lutheran Church, 537 Bolton Street (Route 85), Marlborough, Monday, July 31 to Friday, August 4, from 9 am to noon. Register your child today by going to this website.  Suggested fee for the entire week is $10, with a maximum of $25 per family, and scholarships are available.
    “Hero Central” is the theme for this year’s VBC, which is open to children from Pre-K through Grade 5. Children will learn about the heroes of the Bible, and how they can be heroes as well.  Participants will play games, create arts and crafts, conduct science experiments, sing, and hear Bible stories, as they discover how God’s heroes have heart, courage, wisdom, hope, and power. 
    The program includes a daily snack. A group of enthusiastic volunteers, teen through adult, will lead the sessions.
